Allow us some chauvinism. AnnaGrace (born as Annemie Coenen, 1978, Herk-de-Stad) has been - until further notice - the only Belgian musician who defeated Moby in a direct contest. It all happened at the 2002 Top of the Pop-Awards. Annemie, at that moment Ian Van Dahl’s front lady, won the much contested and desired Dance Award for the song Castles In The Sky; she grasped it right from under the noses of Moby and Basement Jaxx. “I really don’t know the winner that well,” Moby said afterwards. “Now I know why Moby uses Martians in his video clips,” Annemie answered. “Kinda unworldly, huh.” The world press could not get enough of her quotes, and all of a sudden everybody knew la Coenen. Her international career was finally launched.
And look! Today, eight years later, the Limburg ambassador is still a cosmopolitan. She has performed for large audiences, from Brazil (YouTube: planet pop sao paolo) to England (YouTube: gatecrasher festival), which has left her with a lot of stage experience. The result of all this performing? A new album by AnnaGrace, the name Annemie Coenen carries since she has put her cooperation with Ian Van Dahl on hold. Does the new concept work? Of course it does! Celebration was a pre-release to her new album, Ready To Dare. A mosaic of fresh pop tunes and feel good dance melodies and, thank you Peter Luts, up-to-date beats.
Ready To Dare? Why? Because the singer is - after ten years of performing - aware of her capabilities. More than ever. She writes her own songs, which cannot be taken for granted in the dance scene. And of course, with Ready To Dare, there is link to the world of fashion, one of AnnaGrace’s long time passions. AnnaGrace is ready to celebrate her love for music, ready to take over the world! Flashback to the Top of the Pop-Awards anyone? AnnaGrace won more than the dance award! She also received the award for best-dressed artist. A world star, after all!

With het last album Ready To Dare, AnnaGrace hit the top of the charts resulting in several number one hits in the USA Dance Airplay Billboard (Let The Feeling Go, Love Keeps Calling and You Make Me Feel). Now AnnaGrace is ready to capture many hearts with a brand new and very personal track.
Later this year, AnnaGrace will release a new album filled with strong songs and a new uplifting house sound. Ready To Fall In Love is the first single from that upcoming album. It is an energetic track filled with contagious vocals and powerful emotions.
Just like all other songs from the previous album, this song has been written by AnnaGrace herself and produced by Peter Luts. Ready To Fall In Love is also available in a remix by house talent David Puentez. The video for Ready To Fall In Love was captured in Los Angeles in the prestigious Sowden House. The impressive architecture and Hollywood style interior were the ideal set for this new video styled by AnnaGrace.
Ready To Fall In Love will without a doubt find his way to the radios and clubs all around the globe.
Each year, VRT (the Flemish Public Broadcasting Corporation) and Flanders Music Centre honor the most outstanding Flemish artists of the year.
This year, the MIA ceremony will take place on January 7th 2011. The awards show will be broadcast live on TV, in prime time. More than 800.000 viewers watched last years show.
The winners in 12 categories are voted by the public (web voting system), except for 5 awards voted by the Flemish Music Industry.

Last Saturday, the 27th of November, Lasgo and AnnaGrace performed on the Dance4Life event in Ahoy, Rotterdam.
The Saturday before Worls Aids Day, almost 10.000 kids danced to the music of artists like Lasgo, AnnaGrace, Don Diablo, Fedde le Grand and The Partysquad. The event was the closing party of School4Life, a project where schools collect money for the Stop Aids Now! projects.
The event was held in 26 other countries and at 19.00 hrs Ahoy was connected through a satellite with several other Dance4Life events over the world in a.o. the UK, Zambia, Spain, Barbados, Mexico, the USA and South Africa.
